VTU System

There is not a single day i left without scolding/cursing the VTU BE System and Architecture. Every Day, when ever there was something that causes extra work for us, we used to Curse the system.

• we ask why ??
• Who the hell cares ?
• Why should we do 3 projects ?
• Why should we read this subject?
• Why we have attendance % Criteria ?
• Why Internals ?? List goes on....

These are the some of the Basic questions that we used to Ask ourselves and probably all the VTU guys would ask those.. But, after Coming out of the College Only we soon realised that It was Perfectly designed to Make a complete ENGINEER. Hats of to the VTU.

Let me Tell you the truth. In the Movie Sarkar there is one classic Dialogue

"Nazdeeki faida soch ne se pehle, Door ka nuksaan soch na chahiye..."

So for the Pleasure of enjoying Goldendays, we forgot the Actual purpose.

Here are the Answer that i Give to for the Same and common Questions.

1. Why should we do 3 projects ?
Ans: Thats the only way for you to get into actual puporse of studying whole SUBJECT.
Ex: CGI/PERL project. If you would have done even one page of the Perl script by your own, i am 100% sure that you will understnd whole concept fo CLIENT and SERVER, with CGI. Until then its a bane...

2. Why Writing Internals ?
Ans: Do you remember School days ? We used to have tests at every month end. And we have to study at an average of 2 lessons and a poem right ?. So by the End of year we will cover all the chapters. Just doing rivision will get you min of 60%. Same logic here also.

3. Why do LAB programing ? we all are getting ready programs !!!
Ans: Programs are the Best way to test the concepts that you learn. How well you write a programs will describes your Knowledge.

4. Iam CS guy, Why should I read MES / CHEMISTRY / ELECTRONICS subject?
Ans: GO and Check the Definition of the ENGINEER. I believe all the Subjects are definitely interlinked. Its our mis confusion/ fault that we don't understand this concept.

So guys Dont wast time. These 4 years of study / work will decide your next 40 years of LIFE. what are you learn in these 4 years, the application of those years of study will get reflected when you guys come out of your college.

TIPS:

• Engineering is not a JOKE. Take it seriously.
• Always Try to think OUT OF THE BOX, and face the problems.
• Use internet. Its the Best resources you can get.
• Don't Depend upon lecturers.
• Try to read the Subject for full and Understand the concept.
• Do projects / Lab programs of your own.
• Involve in Paper Presentation works, that will keep you in touch with current technology.

Artis Speakers

ARTIS. Its one of the best multimedia speakers i have seen and used. People say First impression is Best impression, Thats exactly what happened to me when i saw these tiny 4.1 speakers in my Tech Guru(Gopal) house. First song i heard was "Alai Payuthe kannaa.. " title Song of the Movie. I was amazed by the sound quality of those tiny speakers.

Soon after i decided to get my PC upgraded from PENTIUM 1 (133 Mhz, 1 Gb HDD and 16MB RAM). I got these speakers from SP road Bangalore. Few of my friends didn't liked it. As they compared it with Creative Speakers. I Do agree that Creative Produces good Sound but it has LOOSE BASS, There is lot of BASS leakage. First song i played was "Radha Kaise na Jale" in 2003. Thats it still now i am using those tiny Speakers.

Now only 8 Months back i had saw the SPEAKERS reviews on DIGIT and CHIP magazines, and one of the model Named "X10 MINI", got awards. Personally, i suspect the Reviewer. But something caught me and i was Desperate to See the Demo of those speakers. I went in to the MAIN distribution center of Bangalore and heard the DEMO. It was Good, in fact Great. its actually 5.1 System with 8" Driver. Then after few days I brought it for a good Deal price. And since then My Home theater Become Complete. Now its running on 29" TV with Artis X10 Mini Speakers. Initially i played "Die another Day" movie, It was awesome. It produced good Controlled bass.

Artis has a wide range of Speakers, After a research i got that they actually sourced from another company called MICROLAB. These guys are actually the BAPP of all the manufacturers. they supply it for MERCURY also.

Now i suspect, now a days the Quality is not that much what it used to be before. Any how for a basic Computer Speakers its a Good Option.

Bangalore's Terrific Traffic

Yet another busy day started. Kids, students, teachers, teckies are all in rush to reach their destinations. Someone is rushing to get the Bus, some are busy in getting into the vehicles. but, one thing is common in this, all are in Hurry to just get into their destinations. No matter what, they must reach their destinations.

Its been couple of years i have been in this BUSY Bangalore. But in olden days when i was a kid of 12 or 13 it was not like that, all the roads of Bangalore is filled cool air, and finger countable traffic, and pace of the life was very slow.. But now , if you just imagine the TIME of 8:30 - 10AM in the morning its HORRIBLE. Every signal will gets piled up easily. No matter what Traffic police do (turn on and off of signals). Its hard them to get control over it.

Here are the Some of the Points i can make out

1. Less driving sense: Pepole will never follow the rules. Peoples (especially 2 wheelers / autos) just cross the lane and always move in to the Incoming lanes to get first into the Signal creating a BOTTLE NECK. By this the traffic behind them gets a lesser move. since most of the SIGNAL time is consumed by the RULE BREAKERS.
2. Single person driving n 4 wheeler: This is most disgusting.. These banks are giving such a schemes that Its easy for the people to get trapped in SIMPLE EMI scheme. I guess all most 85% of the TECKIE Pm/PL will have a 4 Wheeler. The bad thing is only one person is always riding it. The result is, a car 5-6 Mts long and 2 Mts wide consumes 6 two wheeler space. so effectively consuming 12 person space. Thats BAD. Even worse is They talk on mobile while Driving.
3. Bad Roads: Roads really need to get improve a lot
   
4. Daily registration of Vehicles: Govt need to put some constraint on registering the number of vehicles on monthly Basis. Ex:3000 Vehicles. But the true fact is Bangalore gets 800 -1000 vehicles registered daily.
   
5. Bad Parking Facility: Poeple will park their vehicles where ever they want. And also in some areas Govt must make some Parking lot, at reasonable price.

• Follow traffic rules
• Carry proper Documents
• Maintain low speed.
  
• Take the cut roads, avoid main roads.
• Make a nice parking.
