VTU System

There is not a single day i left without scolding/cursing the VTU BE System and Architecture. Every Day, when ever there was something that causes extra work for us, we used to Curse the system.

• we ask why ??
• Who the hell cares ?
• Why should we do 3 projects ?
• Why should we read this subject?
• Why we have attendance % Criteria ?
• Why Internals ?? List goes on....

These are the some of the Basic questions that we used to Ask ourselves and probably all the VTU guys would ask those.. But, after Coming out of the College Only we soon realised that It was Perfectly designed to Make a complete ENGINEER. Hats of to the VTU.

Let me Tell you the truth. In the Movie Sarkar there is one classic Dialogue

"Nazdeeki faida soch ne se pehle, Door ka nuksaan soch na chahiye..."

So for the Pleasure of enjoying Goldendays, we forgot the Actual purpose.

Here are the Answer that i Give to for the Same and common Questions.

1. Why should we do 3 projects ?
Ans: Thats the only way for you to get into actual puporse of studying whole SUBJECT.
Ex: CGI/PERL project. If you would have done even one page of the Perl script by your own, i am 100% sure that you will understnd whole concept fo CLIENT and SERVER, with CGI. Until then its a bane...

2. Why Writing Internals ?
Ans: Do you remember School days ? We used to have tests at every month end. And we have to study at an average of 2 lessons and a poem right ?. So by the End of year we will cover all the chapters. Just doing rivision will get you min of 60%. Same logic here also.

3. Why do LAB programing ? we all are getting ready programs !!!
Ans: Programs are the Best way to test the concepts that you learn. How well you write a programs will describes your Knowledge.

4. Iam CS guy, Why should I read MES / CHEMISTRY / ELECTRONICS subject?
Ans: GO and Check the Definition of the ENGINEER. I believe all the Subjects are definitely interlinked. Its our mis confusion/ fault that we don't understand this concept.

So guys Dont wast time. These 4 years of study / work will decide your next 40 years of LIFE. what are you learn in these 4 years, the application of those years of study will get reflected when you guys come out of your college.

TIPS:

• Engineering is not a JOKE. Take it seriously.
• Always Try to think OUT OF THE BOX, and face the problems.
• Use internet. Its the Best resources you can get.
• Don't Depend upon lecturers.
• Try to read the Subject for full and Understand the concept.
• Do projects / Lab programs of your own.
• Involve in Paper Presentation works, that will keep you in touch with current technology.
